Additional Tips for Ruins.
How far in advance do I need to reserve the ruins?
The official agenda for Antigua’s historic ruins opens once a year, usually between February and April. What does this mean?
Let’s imagine this scenario:
You get engaged in November 2025 and want to get married in November 2027. Even though your wedding is two years away, you cannot check availability or book a date until early 2026, when the new agenda is released.
So when should you start planning?
We recommend beginning your wedding planning 12 months before your desired wedding date.
However, if you’re having a destination wedding, the ideal planning window is 12–18 months. This gives you plenty of time to secure venues, vendors, accommodations, and guest logistics.
And don’t worry — that’s exactly why we’re here!
Our team will guide you through every step, from navigating the ruins calendar to building the perfect wedding weekend. Your only job is to enjoy the process — we’ll take care of the rest.
